Well after 4 weeks of hard graft room 7 has now been redecorated and is ready for occupation. Only 9 more rooms to go yipee.

This weekend we have had to have the main roof repaired as we had two major leaks and one lesser leak. We are dry again now though and hopefully we will stay that way.

2008 was a difficult year as we had scaffolding erected so that the front of the building could be re rendered. The job we were told would take 3 weeks, and we expected to go into the 2008 summer season with the best frontage on Esplanade Road. However we used a local builder, he started the job at the beginning of July instead of June and then took 4 months to complete the 3 week job. Needless to say we therefore had the worst frontage on the road throughout the season until October.

Still that is behind us and 2009 is going to be a great year for us and for Paignton. If you haven't visited us yet then do so soon, there is lots to do and plenty of places to see.
